Scott Grant

Senior Counsel

Scott Grant is a Chattanooga native who joined the firm in 1997. Scott received his B.S. at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his J.D. at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1997. His practice primarily focuses on trust and estate planning and administration, probate, tax planning, and business succession planning advice to business owners and individuals, but also includes commercial transactions, real property, general litigation, debt collection and corporate transactional work. Scott is a member of the Chattanooga, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations, as well as the State Bar of Georgia. He served as an officer and director for various charitable private foundations and counsels clients in charitable planning, including the formation and administration of charitable foundations and trusts. Scott is married to his wife, Mary Stanley Grant, has one child, and enjoys watching his daughter play soccer for the Wofford Terriers at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
