Chattanooga environmental law attorney David Higney is once again being recognized and listed in Band 3 by Chambers USA® for Environment - Tennessee in the 2021 Chambers USA Guide: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business report. Mr. Higney is an Executive Committee member at Grant Konvalinka and Harrison, P.C., and he concentrates his law practice in litigation, environmental law, and administrative/regulatory matters. He has been involved for several years with cutting edge Perfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) litigation and is a regular presenter about the emerging contaminants.

Mr. Higney assists clients with Brownfield redevelopment projects, environmental enforcement activities by federal or state regulators, and defends claims involving hazardous substances and toxic materials. He is counsel to the Interlocal Solid Waste Authority in Tennessee. He has advised clients about site selection and permitting new or expanding industrial manufacturing facilities.

Mr. Higney is the Immediate Past-President and an invited member of the Brock-Cooper Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Georgia.
