Savannah May

Associate

Savannah May handles civil litigation in Tennessee state and federal courts, as well as health law and regulatory matters.  In her civil litigation practice, Ms. May assists clients with complex civil matters ranging from False Claims Act cases to complex business litigation. Ms. May also assists healthcare professionals and other business professionals with navigating federal and state regulations.


Ms. May grew up in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee and attended Soddy-Daisy High School. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2017, summa cum laude, earning a B.A. in English: Rhetoric and Professional Writing and a B.A. in Spanish. During her time at UTC, Ms. May also lived abroad in Heredia, Costa Rica, where she spent a semester studying advanced Spanish grammar and literature at La Universidad Latina.


Ms. May attended law school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she graduated in 2022, summa cum laude, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Ms. May received awards of excellence in 11 law school courses. 


Ms. May is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Chattanooga Bar Association, and the Southeast Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women. In her spare time, Ms. May enjoys practicing yoga and spending time with her dogs: a French Bulldog named Otis and a Treeing Walker Coonhound named Elmer.

Grant, Konvalinka and Harrison, P.C. is pleased to announce Savannah May has joined the firm as an associate. Savannah is a native of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee and attended Soddy-Daisy High School. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2017 with the highest honors, earning a B.A. in English: Rhetoric and Professional Writing and a B.A. in Spanish. Savannah attended law school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she graduated in 2022 with the highest honors. While in law school, Savannah received awards of excellence in 11 law school courses. She also represented clients as a student attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic, trained as a student mediator in the Family Mediation Clinic, and participated in a presentation on mediation involving intimate partner violence at the Knoxville Family Justice Center’s Inaugural Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Conference. Savannah has worked at GKH since 2017 and has worn many hats during her time with the firm. She clerked for GKH throughout law school and joined the firm as an attorney in 2022. Savannah’s areas of practice include family law and civil litigation. In her spare time, Savannah enjoys practicing yoga, playing with her French Bulldog Otis, and spending time in the mountains where she grew up.
