Kane Shepherd

Director

Kane Shepherd is a native of Montana who joined the firm in 2019. He graduated with high honors from the University of Montana, where he received his B.A. in history and political science. Kane received his J.D. with a concentration in business transactions from the University of Tennessee in 2018. While attending law school, Kane served on the editorial boards of the Tennessee Law Review and Transactions: the Tennessee Journal of Business Law, and worked as a student attorney in the Business Law Clinic. His areas of practice include business and corporate law, real estate, and financial services and transactions.

Prior to joining GKH, Kane clerked at the Hamilton County Chancery Court for the Honorable Pamela A. Fleenor and the Honorable Jeffrey M. Atherton, and previously worked as a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service. He enjoys trying to play golf, having his heart broken by the Tennessee Volunteers, and a very moderate amount of exercise.
