Jim K. Petty

Mr. Petty's general litigation practice includes representation of clients in professional negligence claims (including but not limited to healthcare providers, attorneys, and engineers), automobile accident claims, workers' compensation claims, premises liability claims and insurance coverage disputes. In his domestic relations practice, Mr.Petty represents clients relative to divorce, separate maintenance, marital agreements, child custody and support, paternity and adoption matters. Additionally, Mr. Petty frequently serves as guardian ad litem in child custody, dependency and neglect and mental health disputes. Mr. Petty's practice also involves estate administration and representing clients who have been charged with criminal conduct in state and juvenile courts. Mr. Petty is a member of the Chattanooga, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations.
