Mr. Strickland's practice consists primarily of Insurance Defense and Personal Injury. He is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator.
Mr. Strickland served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 to 1971. He was trained initially at Parris Island, S.C. Mr. Strickland was soon selected for Officer Candidate School and successfully completed the course at Quantico, Va. He served in Vietnam in 1969-1970 and attained the rank of Captain.
Mr. Strickland is active in community theater, having appeared in the Chattanooga Theater Center productions of The Music Man and The Crucible and the Signal Mountain Playhouse productions of The Wizard of Oz, Harvey, My Three Angels, Annie, Something's Afoot, Annie Get Your Gun, Oliver, Don't Dress for Dinner and Leading Ladies.
Mr. Strickland lives on Signal Mountain with his wife, Sandra McCrea. They have two sons, Douglas and William.
